The leaves are simple, opposite, and elliptic to lanceolate in shape. Small, creamy-white flowers bloom in panicles, and the fruit is a small, ellipsoid drupe that turns blue when ripe.

Habitat

Native to the Indian subcontinent and Myanmar, Tetrapilus dioicus thrives in wet tropical biomes, commonly found in regions such as Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Myanmar.
