Pinus roxburghii generally grows at altitudes between 500-2,000 meters, occasionally reaching up to 2,300 meters. This species is common in the outer ranges of the Himalayas, where it forms pure stands on dry, fire-prone slopes. The tree’s adaptability and resilience make it an important component of its ecosystem.
